Amelie Pedneault is an associate professor at Washington State University. She received a Ph.D. in criminology from Simon Fraser University in 2015 after completing her doctoral research at the Centre for Research on Sexual Violence. Her research examines various aspects of sexual offending, including offending decision making, situational approaches to sexual offending, crime prevention interventions, desistance from crime, and reentry practices. Dr. Pedneault has published 17 peer-reviewed articles, two book chapters, and eight technical reports. Her work has been published in Sexual Abuse and Journal of Criminal Justice.
