2026 Plenary Speaker: Grant Hill

Grant Hill is a relentless advocate for criminal justice reform, the founder of the nonprofit 1 Love Legacy, and a candidate for the Iowa House of Representatives in District 88.

 

Following a period of incarceration, Grant committed his life to challenging the stigma surrounding past convictions and demonstrating the reality of redemption.

 

Through 1 Love Legacy, he works to provide mentorship and opportunities for individuals rebuilding their lives after prison and addiction. To amplify these stories, Grant hosts the Legacy Unchained podcast, creating a faith-filled space for honest conversations about recovery, accountability, and purpose.

 

Grant believes that real change requires showing up. He is an active lobbyist at the Iowa Capitol, working closely with lawmakers and advocacy groups like Iowans Unafraid to push for rational, common-sense reform. Balancing his advocacy with demanding 12-hour factory shifts and an unwavering commitment to his own recovery, Grant is living proof that individuals can reclaim their voices and fight for those who feel forgotten by the system.
